If you hadn’t guessed, the wood floors are done. We had to live at Kathy and Bob’s for a few days, under their gracious hosting, until the fumes cleared, but we’re finally back…
The floor is beautiful to say the least. We’re incredibly enthused about the whole “house getting done” feeling and are contemplating doing the kitchen in wood before winter. We’ve yet to bring all of our furniture up from the basement, whcih is probably why it still looks so good – not so cluttered, more like a catalogue photograph than the real life mess of kid toys and random things we normally have.
Next up – sanding and sealing the deck. Then doing the trim for the great room. And maybe even the wood floor for the kitchen in October or so…
